Burnett Softball Association’s<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 “Batter Up” program tested the skills of some young would-be softballers at the Burnett Softball Grounds in Nanango on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The young players practised catching, throwing and hitting in a number of skills development games that enabled them to enjoy a small taste of the sport.<\/p>\n

The Burnett Softball summer season will begin on Saturday, October 19.<\/p>\n

Children may be eligible for the State Government\u2019s $150 voucher under the \u201cGet Started\u201d program.<\/p>\n

Season fees are $50 (primary school students), $80 (secondary school) or $100 (all other participants).<\/p>\n
