September 29, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2013 Colours of Yarraman Festival was supposed to be celebrating Spring, but on Saturday morning it turned into a celebration for much-needed rain when the skies darkened and the clouds broke.<\/p>\n

The drizzly weather may have put a dampener on the Saturday morning street parade and and the fun day at Heritage House but as the weather cleared, the smiles returned.<\/p>\n

On Sunday morning, it was perfect for the free breakfast in Errol Munt Park, sponsored by the Bendigo Bank, which was followed by a morning of market stalls and children’s entertainment.<\/p>\n

The winners of the Colours of Yarraman gardening competition were also announced.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, Larry Cann and his band were set up in a marquee to provide musical entertainment.<\/p>\n

The weekend kicked off with \u00a0an Art and Photography competition, sponsored by the Toowoomba Regional Council, in the Yarraman Community Hall.<\/p>\n
