The grass-fed beef business launched earlier this year by Crownthorpe graziers Brett and Simone Greer has proven so popular that the couple have decided to open a butcher shop in Murgon.<\/p>\n

The shop, which will be located at\u00a0\u00a076 Macalister Street, will open on October 3.<\/p>\n

Bronel Natural Foods began just two two months ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have already had so many people buy our beef that we had to look at expanding already,\u201d Simone said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn our first two months of operation we have sold out both months and are now looking at sourcing additional suppliers of grass fed beef and having a permanent shop for people to buy grass-fed and free-range meats.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrett and I started the business to sell some of our own grass-fed cattle at the local markets. Business has boomed and we had so many inquiries for other free range products that we have purchased the local butcher shop.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a growing appreciation of the quality and benefits of eating grass fed and free range meats. The feedback from our clients has been fantastic.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus will be on grass-fed beef and lamb, free-range pork and chooks. We will also stock fresh seafood every Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are passionate about our region and will be concentrating on having the majority of our suppliers from the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

“We are working with Claire and Craig Kapernick, from Glenrock Family Trust, and Megan and Will Seiler, from Crownthorpe.\u201d<\/p>\n
