Huston Ford’s Dean Gauld is happy to let you test drive the Ford Focus this Friday and Saturday and you can help earn $10 for breast cancer research at the same time<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Can you guess what the world’s best-selling car is? Would you like to test drive one to see what all the fuss is about? And earn a useful $10 donation for the National Breast Cancer Foundation as well?<\/p>\n

This Friday and Saturday morning, South Burnett residents will be able to do all of these things at Huston Ford in Rogers Drive, Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

Last year the Ford Focus became the best-selling vehicle “nameplate” in the world, notching up more than one million sales.<\/p>\n

And it has retained the title in the first quarter of 2013, with global vehicle registrations up 18 per cent compared with the same time last year.<\/p>\n

Based on analysis of the latest global registration data, 288,724 Focus vehicles were registered worldwide in the quarter ending March 31.<\/p>\n

Huston Ford dealer Mark Huston says the Focus has become a very popular mid-priced car with South Burnett customers ever since the latest model was released.<\/p>\n

“It has a lot of terrific features, including Ford’s Ecoboost technology which delivers around 20 per cent better fuel efficiency than a conventional engine,” he said<\/p>\n

“With never-ending rises in fuel prices, being able to squeeze more out of every litre of petrol with no loss of power is something we all want.”<\/p>\n

Sales Manager Dean Gauld agrees.<\/p>\n

“The Focus has struck a chord with customers around the world because it offers remarkable technologies, excellent fuel economy, performance and great driving dynamics, all at a very competitive price,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Manuals are available from $21,875 and automatics for around $2000 more. This makes it a very affordable car, too.”<\/p>\n

The company will be offering no-obligation test drives of the Focus – or any other Ford vehicle in the current range – from 10:00am to 5:30pm on Friday, October 18, and 9:00am to noon on Saturday, October 19, as part of a promotion for National Breast Cancer Month.<\/p>\n

At the end of a test drive, drivers fill in a simple form which is sent to Ford’s head office in Victoria.<\/p>\n

Ford will then donate $10 in the driver’s name to the National Breast Cancer Foundation as a “thank you” for putting the car through its paces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
