South Burnett CTC<\/strong> is looking for people willing to become part of their Partners In Foster Care<\/strong> team to provide a safe and secure environment for children and young people.<\/p>\n

An information session for potential foster carers will be held at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre, 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy, from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, June 14.<\/p>\n

CTC is encouraging all members of the community to apply to become carers: singles or couples, married or in a de facto relationship.<\/p>\n

“We need your assistance to place children and young people in homes that will embrace their culture and assist them in maintaining their social, physical and spiritual identity,” a spokesman said.<\/p>\n

Foster carers receive a regular allowance to help with the cost of providing care. An additional allowance is provided for those foster carers who care for children or young people with special needs.<\/p>\n
