The Kingaroy Clay Target Club will be holding a “Come and Try” shoot later this month for newcomers to the sport.<\/p>\n

The shoot will be held at the club grounds on Kingaroy-Cooyar Road (opposite Kingaroy Airport) on Sunday, September 29, from 9:30am.<\/p>\n

Entry fee is $20 for two 10-target events.<\/p>\n

Tuition and ammunition is included (no experience is necessary) and club shotguns will be available to use.<\/p>\n

There will also be a sausage sizzle lunch.<\/p>\n

Shooters must wear enclosed shoes only (no thongs or bare feet) and the minimum age is 11 years.<\/p>\n

They must also have a current driver’s licence or firearms licence required for shooters over 18 years.<\/p>\n

All proceeds from the day will go to the “Birds Of A Feather” Relay For Life cancer appeal team.<\/p>\n
