The Kingaroy Writers Association held a workshop on Tuesday, September 3.<\/p>\n

We had nine members and one guest present.<\/p>\n

We presented our Spoonerisms and unusual words, including such gems as \u201ceidetic\u201d, \u201cevanescent\u201d, \u201cpusillanimous\u201d and \u201cidiopathic\u201d.<\/p>\n

After smoko, Elizabeth presented an interesting workshop on \u201cYellow\u201d.<\/p>\n

The day finished with the reading of our homework.<\/p>\n

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, September 17.<\/p>\n

Homework for that meeting is to write about 1000 words on the topic \u201cIt Looks Like Being A Long Haul\/Time\u201d, to invent an epigram on the topic \u201cHelpless\u201d and to find an unusual word and its meaning.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy Writers Association meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Uniting Church hall, corner Alford and Youngman streets, Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

Meetings start at 9:30am and we warmly welcome visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
