St Joseph’s annual fete at Murgon went off with a bang on Friday night with the school grounds filled with rides and activities.<\/p>\n

Parish priest Fr Michael Carroll said he was very happy with the evening, which raised funds for the Catholic school and parish.<\/p>\n

A highlight was a performance by the South Burnett Youth Choir.<\/p>\n

Children from Prep through to Year 7 from St Joseph’s also put on special performances.<\/p>\n

South Burnett band Bruzz (Andrew Beckett and Guy Davis) provided live entertainment for the crowd.<\/p>\n

Seminarian Nicholas Okafor, who is currently living at Murgon, was especially thrilled by the night.<\/p>\n

“It was fantastic!” he told southburnett.com.au<\/strong>. “It was my very first fete ever!”<\/p>\n
