Well, here&#8217;s your chance to find out &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>As part of this year&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sbmotorsinmotion.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Motors In Motion Festival<\/a><\/strong>, which will be held at Kingaroy Aerodrome on November 2, individuals and teams of five will be timed pulling a Carsburg Transport semi-trailer over a set course.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals will pull the Western Star prime-mover; teams will pull the prime-mover plus trailer.<\/p>\n<p>Kingaroy resident Damien Martoo is organising the event, with funds raised going to assist three charities: <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.riversgift.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">River&#8217;s Gift<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(to fund SIDS research), <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kidney.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kidney Health Australia<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.beyondblue.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beyond Blue<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trophies will be awarded to the fastest man in two divisions &#8211; over 100kg and under 100kg; and the fastest woman (yes, women are invited to test their strength, too!); and to the fastest team.<\/p>\n<p>Entry cost is $40 per individual or $120 per team of five. The entry fee will include a free T-shirt.<\/p>\n<p>So far, about 10 individuals and five teams have registered.<\/p>\n<p>Damien said there was a strictly limited number of places available so anyone interested should contact him ASAP.<\/p>\n<p>He was hoping that sporting clubs &#8211; football teams, netball teams, cricket teams etc &#8211; would be interested in the teams competition as well as groups from local gyms.<\/p>\n<p>He is also hoping to attract sponsorship from local businesses.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We can hang their banners off the bull-bars on the truck and along the sides of the truck and trailer,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said he would like to thank Carsburg Transport, Snap Fitness and Mass Nutrition\u00a0who had come on board to support the event so far.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For more information see the 2013 Charity Truck Pull Challenge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CharityTruckPullChallenge2013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook page<\/a>; to enter or sponsor the event, contact Damien <a href=\"mailto:truckpull2013@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">by email<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: red;\">UPDATE October 28: Organisers announced this morning that the Truck Pull Challenge has been postponed until 2014.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you &#8211; or your team of mates &#8211; fit enough, strong enough and fast enough to pull a semi-trailer 20 metres?
