Cyclists will have the opportunity to ride along part of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail – and compete for prizes – as part of next month’s Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt Festival.<\/p>\n

The ride is being organised by Sgt Michael Eadie, from the South Burnett PCYC, and has been dubbed the “Hillbilly Haul”.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, September 7, the riders will travel along the trail towards Yarraman; on Sunday, September 8, they’ll head in the opposite direction, towards Linville.<\/p>\n

\u201cBike riders will have the opportunity to go on a challenging ride, have some fun and potentially win some fantastic prizes,” Sgt Eadie said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ride is supported by the PCYC and the South Burnett Regional Council. We have also had huge support from Crane Wines who have donated the main prize.\u201d<\/p>\n

Riders can win accommodation for two people at Crane Wines in Kingaroy, including continental breakfast, a bottle of wine, gourmet cheese platter and a barbecue pack.<\/p>\n
