Eleven fire crews were called to J Hunters Road at Ballogie about 11:00am today to battle a small bushfire.<\/p>\n

The fire had a 500m front when crews arrived.<\/p>\n

They concentrated their efforts on protecting a shed which was threatened by the flames. <\/p>\n

Ambulance paramedics also treated an adult and child on site but they did not require transportation to hospital.<\/p>\n

About 40ha of grass and scrub were burned out.<\/p>\n

An Emergency Services spokeswoman said the fire was under control by 12:45pm and most firefighters had left the scene by 2:20pm.<\/p>\n
