A happy crowd descended on Kingaroy’s Nimue Art Gallery last Saturday for the opening of an exhibition by South Burnett artists Dot Rowland and Robyn Dower.<\/p>\n

“Inside Out & Back To Front” is the first joint exhibition the artists have mounted, and it drew a very positive response from everyone who came to view it.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was opened by Wayne Brown from the nearby Kingaroy Art Gallery, who knows both artists well.<\/p>\n

He confessed he had a “life-long love of art” and took great delight in seeing these two well-known and highly regarded artists mount an exhibition together.<\/p>\n

He was very familiar with both their styles, he said, and was amazed at how they were evolving over time. He said he was sure many others shared this view.<\/p>\n

Several other local artists also attended the opening and passed on their congratulations to Dot and Robyn, as well as Nimue curator Cherry Carroll, an accomplished artist herself, for encouraging the artists to put together the exhibition and giving over the gallery’s main area to display it.<\/p>\n

Inside Out & Back To Front will be on display at the Nimue Gallery in King Street, Kingaroy from Tuesdays to Sundays until the end of August. Admission to view it is free.<\/b><\/p>\n
