Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington has officially handed over four new ambulances to paramedics at the Kingaroy, Nanango and Yarraman ambulance stations.<\/p>\n

Mrs Frecklington presented the new state-of-the-art vehicles recently on behalf of Community Safety Minister Jack Dempsey.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to see four new ambulances for the South Burnett (two are based in Kingaroy). They\u2019ll provide our paramedics with access to the best equipment and the opportunity to provide the highest possible health care in times of emergency,\u201d Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new ambulances are state-of-the-art purpose-built emergency response vehicles that gives these paramedics the best available platform to work out of.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ambulances provide paramedics a safe and functional mobile workplace while offering patients what could almost be described as an emergency department on wheels. Each ambulance is fitted out in Australia with the latest lifesaving and support equipment on-board.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe inside of the ambulances are ergonomically designed in consultation with Queensland paramedics to ensure they are well suited and safe to carry out their lifesaving work while on road.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Newman Government is committed to ensuring that the dedicated ambulance officers have access to world-class equipment which will help them complete their duties to the best of their extensive abilities.\u201d<\/p>\n
