Yarraman Bowls Club will be celebrating its golden anniversary next month with a weekend of activities.<\/p>\n

On Saturday (August 10), there will be an Open Day from 1:30pm.<\/p>\n

Visitors will be able to peruse photos and memorabilia at the clubhouse … and there may even be an opportunity to play an end or two with friends.<\/p>\n

On Sunday (August 11), fours will take to the greens in two games of 18 ends. Trophies will be awarded.<\/p>\n

Teams can earn two points for winning an end and four points for a game.<\/p>\n

Jacks will be respotted if sent dead.<\/p>\n

Games director Kevin Proffke said teams were coming from “all over the place” for the weekend.<\/p>\n

“Every club in the South Burnett has received an invitation,” he said.<\/p>\n

“There’s even a team from Roma coming.”<\/p>\n

Individual players who may like to take part can play as “spares”.<\/p>\n

Green fees are $20 which includes lunch and a cup of tea.<\/p>\n
