A group of six Year 11 and Year 12 chemistry students from St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy have proved they can mix it with the best in a competition in Brisbane.<\/p>\n

The students took part in the recent Royal Australian Chemical Institute titration competition held at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.<\/p>\n

The students competed against 45 schools – both State and private – from across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast.<\/p>\n

The top 13 teams were ranked in the “excellent” category and are eligible to compete in finals in October.<\/p>\n

“The Year 11 team came sixth place in these rankings, a great result given the intense competition. Congratulations to both teams,” principal Mr Michael Nayler said.<\/p>\n
