If you were out and about on Sunday morning in Kingaroy and thought you heard cars moo-ing and saw people dressed in kilts wandering about, you weren’t dreaming.<\/p>\n

It was just participants in the latest version of the Great Endeavour Rally (and the less-demanding Cruise) taking off on Leg 2 of their trip to Port Douglas.<\/p>\n

The rally started in Caloundra on Saturday (July 13) with 44 vehicles.<\/p>\n

Their first overnight stop was in Kingaroy where the drivers and their crews enjoyed a special dinner at the Kingaroy Town Hall catered for by the Endeavour Kingaroy Kitchen.<\/p>\n

Early on Sunday morning – and we mean early – the officials, support crews and drivers fronted up for breakfast – also supplied by the local Endeavour team – before hitting the road on their way to Theodore for their second night on the road.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy Endeavour manager Hazel Patterson said her team had catered for about 170 people on Saturday night, and then turned around and fed about 150 on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

The Great Endeavour Rally has been running since 1988 and is an important fundraiser for the Endeavour Foundation which provides opportunities for people with a disability.<\/p>\n
