They cover a wide variety of themes, with many focussing on plants and animals.<\/p>\n<p>They also provide a sharp contrast to Joy&#8217;s meticulously painted, romantic renderings of flowers and plants.<\/p>\n<p>But guests at the opening agreed the unusual combination of styles worked very effectively together to create a striking end result.<\/p>\n<p>Gallery curator Cherry Carroll said she was very pleased to be able to bring the exhibition to the public.<\/p>\n<p>She said the works were &#8220;of a very high standard&#8221; and both artists deserved to be proud of them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;For The Joy Of It&#8221; will remain on display at the Nimue Art Gallery at 6 King Street in Kingaroy from 10:00am to 3:30pm Tuesdays to Fridays and 10:00am to 1:30pm on Saturday until the end of July. Admission to view the exhibition is free.<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38379\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38379\" style=\"width: 740px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a
