McGrath Nurse Sue Cox and Deputy Mayor Linda Little<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>October 1, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The South Burnett\u2019s annual &#8220;Pinking Up South Burnett&#8221; campaign to support the McGrath Foundation was officially launched on Thursday morning with a generous $10,000 donation.<\/p>\n<p>This is the fourth year that Kingaroy residents Barry and Leanne Krosch have dug deep to support the effort, which is co-ordinated by McGrath nurse Sue Cox, South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff and Cr Danita Potter.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign, which is supported by the South Burnett Regional Council, encourages groups across the region to hold \u201cPink Up\u201d fundraising events during October.<\/p>\n<p>Various events have already been scheduled, including at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall this Saturday (October 3), South Burnett Speedway on October 24, Nanango Services Club on October 27<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For more information, visit the Pinking Up South *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Tickets are still available (until midnight on Thursday) for a special cocktail party which will be held at the Club Hotel in Kingaroy on Friday night (October 2).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>McGrath Foundation ambassador Tracy Bevan will be the special guest\u00a0from 6:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>Tracy helped to set up the McGrath Foundation with her friend, the late Jane McGrath, in 2005 and has been a Director of the Foundation since 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $50 &#8211; which includes a free cocktail or mocktail plus canapes &#8211; and can be booked <a href=\"https:\/\/southburnett-events.bookable.net.au\/#!\/event-detail\/ev_8f25439bd2454b2b9ea94c6c4db45b3c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>online<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For more information, exclusive raffle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two large, beautifully decorated wine barrels (suitable for a back deck or bar) which have been donated by STAG Excavation and Landscapes are being raffled.<\/p>\n<p>There are just 200 tickets at $20 each.<\/p>\n<p>The barrels, see below, include an illuminated ice bucket.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Donations to support Pinking Up South Burnett can
