August 6, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nanango Race Club will be holding its first meeting of the new racing year at Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.<\/p>\n

There’s six races on the Nanango Cup Day card with Race 1 to jump at 12:45pm.<\/p>\n

Free buses will be running from Nanango (noon, Howletts Lane) and Kingaroy (11:30am, Carrollee Hotel)\u00a0 but bookings are essential!<\/p>\n

There’ll be free activities for the children and musical entertainment from local singer Natalie Fenton after the last race until late.<\/p>\n

Entries into the Fashions Of The Field competition can also be made online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

There’ll also be a competition for the Best Dressed Strapper and South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff will also be looking for her “Paddock Pick” (ie. best dressed on course, no registration required).<\/p>\n

Admission to the races is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 18s are free) and entry tickets can be booked online <\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

NB. There’s no ATM on the course.<\/p>\n
