Did you know Census Night is on Tuesday, August 11?<\/p>\n

The Australian Bureau of Statistics is reminding residents to check their mailboxes for instructions on how to participate.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson said most households would complete the Census online, however paper forms would be available on request for those who prefer them.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce you receive your instructions, you can complete your Census straight away if you already know where you\u2019ll be on Census night. You don\u2019t need to wait until August 11,\u201d Census nation spokesperson Emily Walter said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some households will receive a Census paper form in the mail or have one delivered by a Census field officer.\u00a0These households will still be able to complete their Census online if they prefer.<\/p>\n

The ABS expects about 85 per cent of forms to be completed online, which should take about 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
