South Burnett Regional Council has installed 36 new cage bins across the region to encourage recycling.<\/p>\n

The cages have been supplied by the Container Exchange program (COEX) at no cost to Council.<\/p>\n

The new bins will allow people to leave their eligible drink containers which would have otherwise ended up as litter or landfill.<\/p>\n

These can then be collected by another person or a community group who will be able to exchange them for the 10-cent refund at the Container for Change receival depots in Kingaroy or Cherbourg; or at the drop-off points in Blackbutt, Nanango, Proston, Wondai and Yarraman.<\/p>\n
