Kilkivan State School P&C will receive $35,000 to upgrade the facility<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

South Burnett not-for-profit associations will receive more than $406,000 in the latest round of the State Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants.<\/p>\n

Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington welcomed the announcement on Tuesday of the Round 126 grants.<\/p>\n

Successful applicants were:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Blackbutt Agricultural Show Society<\/strong> – construct shelter – $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Blackbutt Singers<\/strong> – buy equipment and develop a logo – $6595.26<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Burnett News<\/strong> – buy equipment – $11,975<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Cloyna Hall Committee<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Ironpot Hall Association<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $22,500<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Kilkivan State School P&C<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • Kingaroy Aero Modellers Society<\/strong> – buy mower – $25,500<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • Manumbar Campdraft and Hall Association<\/strong> – upgrade facility and buy equipment – $28,495<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • Murgon and District Tennis Association<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $14,569.76<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    • Nanango Bowls Club<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      • Nanango Rugby League Football Club<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $25,146<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                          \n
                        • Rodeo Youth Development & Education<\/strong> – buy equipment – $30,800<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                            \n
                          • South Burnett Suicide Prevention Working Group<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $33,200<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                              \n
                            • Wondai and District Men’s Shed<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $24,482.50<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                \n
                              • Yarraman Amateur Swimming Club<\/strong> – buy equipment – $8117<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                  \n
                                • Yarraman State School P&C<\/strong> – upgrade facility – $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                  \u201cThese grants provide vital support for community and sporting organisations, helping them upgrade facilities, deliver programs and strengthen the social fabric of our region,\u201d Mrs Frecklington said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                  \u201cLocal volunteers and organisations do an incredible job supporting the South Burnett, often going above and beyond to make a difference. This funding helps ease financial pressures and gives them the resources they need to continue building stronger, more connected communities.<\/p>\n

                                  \u201cEvery project funded through this round represents a genuine investment in our region. I look forward to seeing these initiatives come to life and the lasting benefits they will bring to local communities.\u201d<\/p>\n

                                  She encouraged community groups to watch for announcements regarding the opening of Round 127.<\/p>\n
