No, Member for Wide Bay Llew O’Brien is NOT considering joining One Nation!<\/p>\n

A video posted online on Sunday morning by Mackay councillor Martin Bella suggested Mr O’Brien would leave the LNP before the end of his term.<\/p>\n

Mr Bella, who describes himself as a “digital creator”, was founder of the Green Shirt Movement and now promotes “The Sensible Centre”.<\/p>\n

He has also told the media that he won’t be restanding for Council at the end of his term.<\/p>\n

After briefly analysing Mr O’Brien’s response to last week’s Federal Budget, Mr Bella suggested Mr O’Brien would join One Nation to protect his political career.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr O’Brien was elected to Federal Parliament in 2016, filling the shoes of Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss after his retirement from politics.<\/p>\n

He previously held senior roles in the LNP party structure prior to standing for office.<\/p>\n

Mr O’Brien’s official response to southburnett.com.au<\/strong> on Monday:\u00a0 “Who is Martin Bella? and no I’m not joining One Nation.”<\/p>\n
