The artists received their artistic task by email on a Sunday and then had a week to create it as well as craft an entry in an A5 journal to complement the process.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, they did it again &#8211; with some new members in their ranks &#8211; for 15 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The mystery tasks challenged the artists to try new styles, tempted out of their comfort zones.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome of the 28 artists&#8217; challenge tasks and colourful journals have taken over Wondai&#8217;s Main Gallery for May.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the front gallery, artists Kay Vidler and Meg Stevenson have &#8220;Clay And Glass&#8221;, ie pottery works and glass art.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kay describes her self as an &#8220;old school potter&#8221; who has been experimenting recently with different clays and different glazes.<\/p>\n<p>Meg has also been experimenting, this time with glass, and &#8220;just having fun&#8221; with her glass creations.<\/p>\n<p><strong> South Burnett artist Julie Tomlinson has deeply personal works in Gallery 3, exploring life and emotions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Her Anzac-themed work &#8220;At Dawn&#8221; was named People&#8217;s Choice winner on opening night on May 1.<\/p>\n<p>Works by students from St Joseph&#8217;s Catholic Primary School in Murgon are in Kidz Korner.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibitions will remain on display until 3:00pm on May 30.<\/p>\n<p>The gallery is open from 10:00am to 3:00pm, seven days a week.
