Work will begin later this month to install new sails in the gardens of Nanango’s historic Ringsfield House to extend the shaded area in front of the old Coach House.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said the work would be done in two stages: from April 20-22 and May 26-28.<\/p>\n

To ensure the safety of both visitors and the installation team, Ringsfield House will be closed to the public during these dates and the work area will be fenced off.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe installation of additional shade sails at Ringsfield House is a very welcome improvement to the gardens,” Cr Jane Erkens said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“These shade sails will provide much-needed protection for performers during the afternoon and enhance the comfort of everyone using the space.<\/p>\n

“The gardens are well utilised by many local groups and are beautifully maintained by our Council garden team. Their ongoing care helps ensure this special community space remains attractive and functional.<\/p>\n

“I was pleased to support this improvement through Works for Queensland funding, with Ringsfield House being one of the areas I chose to prioritise for funding support.<\/p>\n

“I am keen to see even more events held in the gardens and to see this valued venue continue to grow as a place for community activity and celebration.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
