Schyndel, Kingaroy; and club president Lionel Woodrow, from Gin Gin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>March 30, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The annual two-day gem show, held at the Wondai Sportsground at the weekend, was another &#8220;polished&#8221; performance by the South Burnett Gem and Fossicking Club.<\/p>\n<p>The Lions Pavilion was filled with stalls featuring everything from fossils to stone carvings, mineral samples and jewellery.<\/p>\n<p>All &#8220;facets&#8221; of the rock and gem collecting hobby were covered, including demonstrations and equipment sales.<\/p>\n<p>Raffle tickets were also being sold to raise funds for the club, which meets weekly in Kingaroy and Wondai.<\/p>\n<p>The prizes were pieces of jewellery made from stones prepared and donated by club
