The Bjelke-Petersen family will be hosting the March meet’n’greet by the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n

The get-together for local businesspeople will be held from 5:15pm next Tuesday (March 24) at “The Old Hangar”, the function area on the family’s property ‘Bethany’ at 218 Peterson Drive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As well as the wedding and events venue, ‘Bethany’ also features B&B cottages and runs more than 200 Angus cattle.<\/p>\n

Guest speakers will include Rachel and Christian Bjelke-Petersen, John Bjelke-Petersen and Bec Cross, from Bunya Beef Grazing.<\/p>\n

The links to local farming history run deep.<\/p>\n

The Bjelke-Petersens have farmed ‘Bethany’ for more than 110 years while Bec’s family has been in the South Burnett for more than 140 years.<\/p>\n

Cost to attend the meet’n’greet is $15 for KCCI members or $20 for non-members.<\/p>\n
