Cr Linda Little<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

March 18, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Division 2 councillor Linda Little will take over the role of Deputy Mayor of the South Burnett Regional Council on April 4.<\/p>\n

The appointment was confirmed at Wednesday\u2019s general meeting of council.<\/p>\n

Cr Little will replace Division 6 councillor Ros Heit who has served as Deputy Mayor since August 3 last year.<\/p>\n

The changes are in line with the eight-month rotational model decided at the start of the current Council term.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the time, Mayor Kathy Duff said the rotation program was part of building a team which supported each other and worked together.<\/p>\n

Cr Danita Potter and Cr Jane Erkens have also previously served in the role; yet to take a turn are Cr Deb Dennien and Cr Heath Sander.<\/p>\n
