The location of the hazard reduction burn that will be carried out in Kingaroy on Sunday, June 30<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

June 25, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

A large-scale hazard reduction burn will be carried out by Queensland Fire and Rescue Service crews about noon on Sunday near Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The burn off area will be between Clark and Swendson roads, Keith Shaw Drive, Harris Road, Thelma Street, Earl Street, Gwen Street, Duke Street and Hodge Street.<\/p>\n

Motorists in the area have been urged to drive with caution and obey all direction from traffic controllers.<\/p>\n

A large smoke haze will blanket the area, particularly properties located near Clark and Swendson roads.<\/p>\n

Residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed and if they are susceptible to respiratory illnesses to keep medications close by.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
