The 2026 Reef’n’Beef was another big night – and a sellout! – for the Coolabunia State School P&C.<\/p>\n

Tables were set up with grazing platters in the Murray Johnston Building with live music in one corner and the licensed bar in the other.<\/p>\n

Then there was the food … as usual, all-you-can eat rib fillet steaks, beef brisket, crabs, prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, calamari, oysters and baked reef fish, plus a choice of desserts!<\/p>\n

The food were served buffet-style but students from Kingaroy State High School were also kept busy waiting on the tables.<\/p>\n

There were also plenty of opportunities to win with lucky door prizes and a major raffle.<\/p>\n

More fundraising opportunities for the P&C were provided by the cent auction and silent auction, with items donated by local businesses.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth Reef’n’Beef which has been run by the Coolabunia State School P&C since the traditional South Burnett “big night out” shifted from Ironpot Hall.<\/p>\n

And it seems to be getting more popular every year!<\/p>\n
