{"id":369597,"date":"2026-02-27T14:06:33","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T04:06:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=369597"},"modified":"2026-02-27T14:07:36","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T04:07:36","slug":"volunteer-grants-open-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2026\/02\/27\/volunteer-grants-open-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Volunteer Grants Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>February 27, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Expressions of Interest for the Federal Government&#8217;s 2025-26 Volunteer Grants program are now open.<\/p>\n<p>Grants of between $1000 and $5000 are available in each Federal Electorate to eligible community organisations to support the efforts of their volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>Grants can be used to buy communication or insurance items and\/or items for the main purpose of supporting volunteers and volunteer-run activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More information is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grants.gov.au\/Fo\/Show?FoUuid=0c963950-d2c0-48af-8f42-ac708865702c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">available online<\/a> but Expressions Of Interest must first be submitted to the relevant Federal MP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>MARANOA &#8211; David Littleproud<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expression of Interest forms can be downloaded <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/davidlittleproud.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/LittleproudD_Volunteer-Grants_2025-26_Maranoa-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online<\/a> <\/strong>(498kb PDF).
