{"id":369403,"date":"2026-02-20T12:47:05","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T02:47:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=369403"},"modified":"2026-02-20T21:09:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T11:09:37","slug":"50000-grant-for-orchestra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2026\/02\/20\/50000-grant-for-orchestra\/","title":{"rendered":"$50,000 Grant For Orchestra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>February 20, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The South Burnett Community Orchestra Association Inc has been allocated a $50,000 grant from the State Government&#8217;s Regional Community Arts Program.<\/p>\n<p>The orchestra &#8211; a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the development of the musical skills of its members &#8211; is one of 29 Queensland organisations, groups and projects which will share in more than $1.5 million funding under the program.<\/p>\n<p>The SBCO&#8217;s grant is two-year core funding. <\/p>\n<p><strong>The Somerset Art Society Inc will receive project funding of $20,000. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;New Horizons at The Condensery&#8221; project aims to provide artists and artworkers a professional development and exhibition opportunity through educational programs, mentorships and guided development.<\/p>\n<p>The successful grant applicants were announced on Friday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The South Burnett Community Orchestra has been allocated $50,000  from the Regional Community Arts Program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":160444,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[863,3],"tags":[23],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
