Kingaroy-based business Fempro Armour has received a $75,000 grant from the State Government’s Ignite Spark Program.<\/p>\n

The program provides support for businesses to develop new products or services and prepare them for customer trials. It helps early-stage companies accelerate development, scale their ideas, and bring cutting-edge solutions to market.<\/p>\n

Member for Nanango, Deb Frecklington said the funding demonstrated the State Government\u2019s commitment to supporting regional innovators.<\/p>\n

Fempro Armour founder Stephanie Bofinger has developed a world-first prototype for cricket protective gear designed specifically for women.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cInnovation can be a tough space for early-stage businesses, and this funding helps bridge the gap by giving them the resources to keep moving forward,\u201d Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy accelerating the journey from prototype to market-ready product, we\u2019re helping local businesses grow, compete, and reach new markets. This support leads to new jobs, stronger industries, and more opportunities right across Queensland.\u201d<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a017 businesses in Queensland have been supported in the latest round of <\/span>Ignite Spark Program<\/span>\u00a0grants.<\/span><\/p>\n
