Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington is calling on young people from across the electorate to nominate for the 31st Queensland Youth Parliament.<\/p>\n

Each year, 93 young Queenslanders are selected to represent every electorate and take part in the Queensland Youth Parliament.<\/p>\n

\u201cYouth Parliament gives young people an incredible insight into how government works, while building confidence, leadership skills and a deeper understanding of how decisions are made,” Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOpportunities like this help young people learn how to influence change, contribute to their communities and develop the skills that future leaders need.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a fantastic chance for a young person from our region to represent our community and experience Parliament firsthand.\u201d Deb said<\/p>\n

Queenslanders aged 16 to 25 are invited to apply before February 22.<\/p>\n
