Round 2 of the State Government’s “Play On! Sports Vouchers” program opened on Thursday (January 29).<\/p>\n

Families can apply for a $200 voucher for each eligible child aged between 5 and 17<\/span> to help cover\u00a0the cost of\u00a0membership,\u00a0registration\u00a0or participation fees with registered sporting\u00a0clubs.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Each eligible child can receive one voucher per financial year.<\/span><\/p>\n

A portion of vouchers are reserved for children living with a disability and those in regional and rural areas. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sport Minister Tim Mander encouraged families to take advantage of the program.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The State Government has committed $62.5 million per year for four years to <\/span>program.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI encourage eligible parents, carers and guardians to apply as soon as possible for Round 2,” Minister Mander said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Children who received a voucher in Round 1 are not eligible to receive another voucher in Round 2.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
