January 23, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speedway fans and competitors from across Australia are camped out in Kingaroy ahead of three huge nights of racing at the Kingaroy Speedway.<\/p>\n

The pit area at the Kingaroy Showgrounds track was abuzz on Thursday night for a free Kings Royal “pit party” which allowed visitors and local residents to mingle with the drivers and their support crews.<\/p>\n

There was also live music, food vans and market stalls to add to the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

However, the real action gets under way on Friday afternoon with a Grand Parade at 3:30pm and racing from 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

The Kings Royal is the richest competition for Modifieds drivers in Australia, but other categories will also be racing across the three days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday’s action will include heats of the Kings Royal as well as heats and the final of the Queens Royal, for female drivers.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, there will be more heats in the Modifieds as well as racing in the Production Sedans Stampede and Street Stocks.<\/p>\n

Who will become “King Of Kingaroy” will be decided in the final of the Modifieds which will be decided on Sunday night after another big evening of racing action which also includes the final of the Production Stampede.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daily admission is $30 for adults, $25 for students (with ID) and aged or disability pensioners or $85 for a family of two adults and up to two students (children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, are free).<\/p>\n

Three-day passes are also available at discounted rates.<\/p>\n
