South Burnett Genealogical and Family History Society vice-president Carmel Olsson caught up with Santa<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

December 12, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Santa Claus dropped in last week at the Christmas break-up of the South Burnett Genealogical and Family History Society at Kingaroy RSL Club.<\/p>\n

The surprise visit delighted members of the group.<\/p>\n

The Society has been operating in Kingaroy since 1981.<\/p>\n

Members meet every Wednesday morning between 9:00am and noon at the Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We will be having a short break over Christmas but will be starting again in February 2026,” secretary Carly Zilm said.<\/p>\n

The group currently has 23 members but is always willing to welcome more.<\/p>\n

“We extend a warm invitation to new members!” Carly said.<\/p>\n
