Santa Claus arrived in style at the Hivesville community Christmas celebration on Sunday<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

December 1, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Santa looks set to have a very busy festive season, with the jolly man in red already popping up at activities around the South Burnett at the weekend.<\/p>\n

On Sunday evening, it was Hivesville’s turn, with the local Progress Association hosting a sausage sizzle and festive celebration for local residents at the sports oval.<\/p>\n

Santa arrived by hitching a ride on the back of a bright yellow Rural Fire Service truck with sirens blaring.<\/p>\n

He then settled down in a chair on the oval to hand out lollies and presents to the kids.<\/p>\n

It was an opportunity for the Progress Association to revive Christmas celebrations in Hivesville at a new location, as well as give their new chocolate wheel a spin!<\/p>\n
