The current musical playground in Coronation Park<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

November 8, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Burnett Regional Council has invited Wondai residents to provide feedback about the redevelopment of the playground at Coronation Park.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said the aim was to ensure the new playground meets the needs and expectations of families and children in the area.<\/p>\n

An information display will be setup at Wondai Library which will have feedback forms which can be filled in.<\/p>\n

Council staff will also be available at the Wondai Library to chat with residents on:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Wednesday, November 12 \u2013 10:00am to noon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Thursday, November 13 – 10:00am to noon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Wednesday, November 19 – 10:00am to noon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Thursday, November 20 – 10:00am to noon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Councillors and Council staff will also be at the Wondai Country Markets on Saturday, November 22, between 6:00am to 9:00am.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \u201cI\u2019m really excited about a new playground for Wondai which will be fantastic for our region,” Deputy Mayor Ros Heit said.<\/p>\n

          “I\u2019m looking forward to hearing the ideas of locals to incorporate into the plan.”<\/p>\n

          The works are being funded by the State Government through the Works for Queensland Program.<\/p>\n

          Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington praised Council\u2019s commitment to revitalising the park.<\/p>\n
