A new exhibition of artworks at Murgon’s 55MYA Museum & Gallery was officially unveiled at the complex’s latest “elegant afternoon tea” last Saturday.<\/p>\n

The afternoon teas are held about every six weeks, coinciding with a change in displays at the gallery.<\/p>\n

Volunteers encourage visitors to dress up for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The afternoon treats, served on fine china, are accompanied by glasses of wine.<\/p>\n

All the artworks which line the walls are available for sale, including many by local artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The art gallery fills one section of the 55MYA complex, which also features the fossil museum and digital displays.<\/p>\n
