Murgon resident Gladys Birch celebrated her 102nd birthday on October 5 with a special morning tea at Southern Cross Care’s Castra aged care home.<\/p>\n

She was joined by family and friends at the celebration, which included music and Gladys’ favourite, spring rolls.<\/p>\n

South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff also toasted Gladys with another of her favourites, moscato wine.<\/p>\n

And, of course, there was also a cake to be cut!<\/p>\n

Janette Irvine, from Castra, said Gladys thanked everyone for their kind wishes.<\/p>\n
