A $20,000 upgrade will begin later this month on the Ros Gregor Nature Walk at Nanango to prevent flooding cutting the path.<\/p>\n

A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said a section of concrete would be removed and replaced with pipework and new concrete at a higher level.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so pleased that these works will help to make the track a lot safer during rain,\u201d Cr Jane Erkens said.<\/p>\n

The walkway will remain open during the works but there may be detours in place around the construction site.<\/p>\n

The works, which are being funded by the State Government’s Works For Queensland program, are expected to take two weeks to complete.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
