RACQ CareFlight will be holding its annual fund-raising ball on Saturday night at the Clive Berghofer Events Centre, Toowoomba Showgrounds.<\/p>\n

More than 450 revellers will gather at the annual “Cirque Du CareFlight” Gala Ball for a formal evening of entertainment.<\/p>\n

The Gala Ball usually raises more than $50,000 for the chopper service, which is one of several retrieval teams that service the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

Guests will enjoy a three-course meal with circus-style entertainment, a five-piece band, sideshow alley and other spectacular acts.<\/p>\n

Every year RACQ CareFlight’s blue and yellow choppers help more than 450 sick and injured patients across southern Queensland.<\/p>\n

The communities of Southern Queensland contribute almost half of the service’s funding.<\/p>\n

The Toowoomba CareFlight crew today airlifted a Kingaroy man suffering a cardiac condition to Prince Charles Hospital.<\/p>\n

An RACQ CareFlight spokesman said he was in a stable condition.<\/p>\n
