An art exhibition with a difference was officially opened at the Wondai Regional Art Gallery on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The exhibition, by six members of South Burnett Care’s Fine Art Group, has taken over The Studio space at the gallery.<\/p>\n

Gallery co-ordinator Elaine Madill made the area available after SB Care approached the gallery about hosting an exhibition.<\/p>\n

All the other gallery spaces at Wondai were booked out months in advance but The Studio proved to be the perfect spot to show off the works.<\/p>\n

The Fine Art Group members worked with professional artist Jenny Gemmell over six weeks to produce a series of works on the theme of “Safari”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“They were the most delightful people to work with,” Jenny said.<\/p>\n

“I am thrilled to bits with what they have done.”<\/p>\n

The exhibition was officially opened by South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff with help from the budding artists.<\/p>\n

Elaine was impressed with the works and said she would like to make the exhibition an annual event.<\/p>\n
