Three fire crews were called after reports of a fire at the Fitzroy Hotel in Nanango on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said it was believed the fire was in one of the lower rooms of the two-storey structure.<\/p>\n

It had been extinguished before firefighters arrived; crews remained on site to help ventilate the building to clear remaining smoke.<\/p>\n

A vehicle involved in a crash just outside Kingaroy on Friday morning was destroyed by fire on Saturday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the initial crash on the Bunya Highway about 3:50am on Friday.<\/p>\n

Two people were taken to hospital.<\/p>\n

The wrecked sedan, which had NSW registration plates, was then left beside the highway, near Geritz Road.<\/p>\n

At 5:40am on Saturday, two fire crews were called after reports it was on fire.<\/p>\n

Firefighters extinguished the fire and then made sure the flames did not spread into grassland.<\/p>\n

They left the scene about 6:30am.<\/p>\n
