Producers from across the Burnett and beyond dropped into Kewpie Stockfeeds in Kingaroy on Friday to get the lowdown on the latest rural innovations.<\/p>\n

The annual Rural Industry Field Day – a tradition which was revived last year – filled the area beside Kewpie Stockfeeds’ store in Youngman Street with an array of stalls, equipment and demonstrations.<\/p>\n

Visitors could listen to specialist talks, guess the weight of a Brahman bull for a chance to win a chainsaw and explore special field day offers.<\/p>\n

A large number of rural suppliers were on hand to showcase their products and services.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There were representatives from animal nutrition and health companies as well as the banking and finance industry and training providers.<\/p>\n

Other presentations covered biosecurity and cyber security.<\/p>\n

Live music by Rob and Clare Fitz-Herbert filled the grounds while the visitors browsed or enjoyed a coffee and a bite to eat.<\/p>\n
