The 44c solar feed-in tariff will expire on June 30

Ergon Energy customers who have qualified to receive the 44c\/kWh feed-in tariff must have their solar PV system installed and a \u201cForm A\u201d lodged by their installer by the end of June to retain eligibility.<\/p>\n

Customers had to apply by July 9 last year and then be approved by Ergon Energy to be eligible for the higher rate under the Solar Bonus Scheme.<\/p>\n

But that eligibility will lapse if the system is not installed and the required paperwork is not submitted before midnight on Sunday, June 30.<\/p>\n

Ergon Energy can install the new meter after June 30 without affecting eligibility for the 44c rate.<\/p>\n

Customers whose Form As miss the deadline may be eligible to receive a feed-in tariff of 8c\/kWh until June 30 next year under the revised scheme.<\/p>\n
