{"id":364053,"date":"2025-08-28T14:41:02","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T04:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=364053"},"modified":"2025-08-28T14:41:02","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T04:41:02","slug":"women-to-contest-semi-finals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2025\/08\/28\/women-to-contest-semi-finals\/","title":{"rendered":"Women To Contest Semi-Finals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>August 28, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The semi-finals of the South Burnett Women&#8217;s soccer competition will be played on Friday night at the Wondai Sportsgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>At 6:15pm, the Barambah Bears will take on favourites Nanango Panthers, while at 7:45pm, it will be a local derby between Kingaroy Easts and Kingaroy Wests.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of each game will face off in the Grand Final to be played at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy at 6:15pm on Friday, September 5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the South Burnett Junior competition, games will continue this Saturday at the Kingaroy Junior soccer fields:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>U12\/13s &#8211; Kingaroy McDonalds v Barambah Connollys State Waste Bears<\/li>\n<li>U12\/13s &#8211; Nanango Panthers Blue v Nanango Panthers White<\/li>\n<li>Cadets &#8211; Kingaroy CTC Mechanical v Barambah Raffin Electrical Bears<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The semi-finals of these junior competitions will be played in Kingaroy on September 6, ahead of the Grand Finals on September 13.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Last Week\u2019s Results<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>FRIDAY\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>South Burnett Women\u2019s Competition \u2013 Round 15 at Kingaroy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nanango def.
