The Proston QCWA has received a $2000 grant from the Federal Government’s 2024-25 Volunteer Grants scheme.<\/p>\n

It was one of 23 grants made in the Flynn electorate, totalling $65,000, announced by local MP Colin Boyce on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Mr Boyce said the grants recognised the crucial role that volunteers have within the community.<\/p>\n

The 2024-25 Volunteer Grants provide organisations with grants of between $1000-$5000 to assist eligible not-for-profit community organisations that rely on volunteers. <\/p>\n

Grants can be used to purchase communication or insurance items and\/or purchase items or services to assist volunteers or volunteer-run activities that support the well-being and development of children (under 18).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
