Two women have been injured – one critically – and a horse killed in a collision involving a horse-drawn carriage at Nanango on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called\u00a0 to the corner of Greenwood Creek Road and Old Esk Road about 9:30am after reports a vehicle and a carriage had collided.<\/p>\n

A QAS spokesperson said three people were assessed at the scene, including two women aged in their 60s.<\/p>\n

One woman was transported in a stable condition to Kingaroy Hospital with a leg injury.<\/p>\n

The second woman suffered life-threatening head injuries and was also taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital.<\/p>\n

The third person was not injured.<\/p>\n

A motorbike rider, aged in his 50s, suffered chest injuries in a crash on Gayndah-Hivesville Road at Abbeywood on Wednesday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emergency services were called after reports a motorbike had struck a kangaroo.<\/p>\n

The man was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with chest injuries.<\/p>\n
